RO Membrane System for Salty Water Sea Water desalination
The seawater desalination membrane equipment system is an energy-saving and high-efficiency complete system equipment made by our company using reverse osmosis. It is widely used in water treatment, environmental protection engineering and other industries, and has been used in China and achieved good results. Since seawater is a low-concentration brine and has a large processing capacity, the membrane equipment system is the only process that can be adopted considering the feasibility of the technology and the economical cost of operation. The basic process idea of the design is that seawater (3.5%) is pretreated and then concentrated into the primary membrane system to increase the concentration of concentrated water to 7%, the fresh water recovery rate is 50%, and then the fresh water can be treated by the secondary membrane. Get pure drinking fresh water, the fresh water recovery rate is 90%.
*The process is carried out at room temperature, low energy consumption, no heating, no phase change, no need to add any other substances to achieve separation, concentration, purification and classification, so it is especially suitable for the concentration and utilization of low concentration solutions. .
*The reverse osmosis device has the advantages of simple structure, small floor space, less auxiliary equipment, convenient installation, low cost, easy insertion into the existing production process system, expansion of capacity and increase of components, and no need to worry about the technical difficult.
*The reverse osmosis device is easy to operate, easy to maintain and repair, can be automatically operated and controlled, and has low energy consumption for separation and concentration. The operating cost is usually one-fifth to one-tenth of the traditional technology.

4. Working Principle
RO (Reverse Osmosis) is a membrane process that utilizes the selectivity of the RO membrane, uses the static pressure difference on both sides of the membrane as the power, overcomes the osmotic pressure of the solvent (usually water), allows the solvent to pass through and traps the ionic substance, and separates the liquid mixture. . There are two necessary conditions for the RO separation process: one is that the applied pressure must be greater than the osmotic pressure of the solution (the operating pressure is generally 1.5 to 10.5 MPa); the second is that there must be a highly permeable, highly selective semipermeable membrane. The surface pore diameter of the RO membrane is generally less than 1 nm, and has a high removal rate for most inorganic salts, dissolved organic substances, dissolved solids, organisms and colloids.
